Archeologist

For the last twenty years, George has been studying issues related to archaeology, ethnography and the history of beekeeping in general. He has carried out numerous on-site ethnographic surveys to record traditional beekeeping in areas of mainland and island Greece. With his distinguished original work, he contributed to the understanding of Greek beekeeping of antiquity and Byzantine times (beekeeping with replicas of ancient and Byzantine clay hives).
